Many years ago, a creature known as Cat crawled out of the swamplands of Southeastern Louisiana and unleashed herself on the world. Things have never been the same…

Or at least she’d like to think so.

Growing up the youngest of four daughters in the sleepy river town of Madisonville, Cat quickly learned that words were her secret weapon. She armed herself well, devouring every book in sight and throwing herself into every grade school book report, journal entry, and birthday card inscription like a reclusive author devising her next masterpiece.

Despite all the reading she’s done, she has yet to figure out the meaning of the word “chill”. Her resting heart rate is that of a normal person being hunted for sport and she generally moves through the world like a caffeine-powered freight train— but that’s just kind of her thing. Today, whether she’s working on a new writing project, tackling her new hobby of the month, or whipping up some never-before-devised concoction in the kitchen, you can bet she’s giving it 110% and then some.
